I'm a 15 year old author with a background in theatre, musical theatre, dance, and singing. Acting on pressure from my friends, who found out that I could sing, I suddenly wrote a few songs. With a mic on my laptop and a piano that I haven't touched for over a year, what you hear is what I sound like. I have nothing that can alter my voice to make it pretty, however much I'd love to make my songs sound professional.
So, basically, I write books, not songs. I write poetry, which a lot of people say is very close to writing a song. Well, that's really not the case. For poetry, it's all about the rhythm. On a song, I've found that they have a structure. Then, you have to bend the words to the melody you have in your head. It's much harder than anything I've ever done.
Anyway, I'd love to hear your comments. If I suck, please tell me so I can stop wasting Myspace's music database with my senseless vocals. If you like it, please put a smile on my face. xD Just like that one.
