My Interests

And anything New Orleanseque!!!Spending time on new house, painting, gardening, and becoming very domesticated! I enjoy planting flowers and working in the yard as much as I can.Reading when I can (not enough these days), traveling (definitely not enough these days), and spending time with cousins and going to their softball/baseball/basketball games. Love to cook, spend time with boyfriend and an occasional happy hour now and then to drink Chimay or anything else made by those crazy monks...

Goodfellas ("ever since I can remember I always wanted to be a gangster"), original Star Wars movies, documentaries, independent foreign films, and Woody Allen movies (Annie Hall is my fave).I just rented Apacalypto and it was really good actually.

Television:

"Top Chef", "Good Eats", Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations", and anything on the History channel. Lately I've gotten addicted to "Entourage" reruns and can't wait for new season of "Weeds".

Books:

Travel stories, 1st Person accounts, survivals, satire, and the following faves: I'm a Stranger Here Myself, Love in the Time of Cholera, Fast Food Nation, Confederacy of Dunces, White Teeth, Kitchen Confidential, An American Tragedy, David Sedaris books and Ayn Rand's (besides Anthem...ZZZZZ).
