About Me

Jeff is a musician and composer currently finishing his Contemporary Music degree at Humber College's renowned music program. He has had the chance to study and take lessons with Mark Promane, Quinsin Nachoff, Pat LaBarbera, Kelly Jefferson, and Donny McCaslin among many others. Some past highlights include performing with Chris Potter and the Bruce Cassidy Jazz Orchestra during his stay as Artist-in Residence at Humber College and arranging one of Chris's compositions for the concert. Jeff also had the opportunity to play in the 2009 Ottawa International Jazz Festival, (opening for the Brian Blade Fellowship), and recently did a week-long BC tour with the Humber Studio Jazz Ensemble. During his time at Humber he was awarded the Doug Richardson Memorial Award and the Duke Ellington Society Scholarship for outstanding achievement in performance and composition. He is currently studying with guitarist David Occhipinti, and writing and recording original compositions to be released in the near future. He is also always collaborating with musicians and playing at venues around Toronto.
