Surround Records was founded in June 1995 as Futurelabel. Although some of the founders already were busy doing all kind of things in the music business, the first initiative using the name Surround Records was the start of a mail-order service. With customers from Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Surround Records grew out to be one of the most important record suppliers of many DJ..s and record collectors.
After this initial success, Surround Records Music store started in 1996. Up till today this is still one of the most important specialised Dance stores in this area, with customers from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, UK, France and even the Australia.
