Born at a very early age in Belfast, the middle one of five children, Cliff was introduced to the heady world of rock and roll when given a drum kit at the age of five for Christmas. Unfortunately, the Who were appearing on the Christmas Top of the Pops Special with Keith Moon drumming. Following his lead, Cliff destroyed said drum kit! Moving to England as a lad, he took up the devils tool (guitar) at the ripe old age of thirteen having been given a beaten up old acoustic by his father, again for Christmas, and this instrument lasted more than six hours. Formed his first band aged fourteen with two erstwhile friends and started gigging on a regular basis (at least once every six months) playing schools, youth clubs, parties etc. For the last twenty years, Cliff has trodden the boards with many bands and has played with some fantastic musicians including members of; Iron Maiden, Whitesnake, Reef, UFO, Ozzy's Blizzard of Oz and others too numerous to mention! His musical influences range from Joni Mitchell to Van Halen, Stevie Wonder to Rush, Mozart to Motorhead and The Beatles to The Red Hot Chilli Peppers!! Has in the last year formed a new band, involving three of the finest musicians he knows: Jarrod Loughlin ..s, guitar and vocals; Rich Blake on bass guitar and vocals and Tim Price on drums. The latest CD 'CUT' is doing OK in Japan and selling well at gigs. The new video for 'Blame' from the 'CUT' CD is now viewable at www.cliffmoore.com. Check it out! An update on the band line-up: Jarrod has left the building due to other commitments. We wish him all the best with his future ventures. On Friday afternoon, at a VIP bash for a Finnish promoters 50th birthday with the mayor of Paks in attendance.
On Saturday morning, at a beautiful church where Richie and I jammed with a couple of the guys from the Yardbirds.
On Saturday Night, when we did our gig proper and went down very well indeed.
Last, but not least,on Sunday night I was invited to get up and jam with an 11-piece Frank Zappa tribute band which was amazing!!!
