Erick

I grew up in Floydada, TX which is fairly small for all you not familiar with the area. I ended up going to school at Texas Tech and pursued a few majors, but ultimately ended up going into nursing. While in college, I found myself in the unique position of being a youth minister at the Methodist church in Ropesville (an even smaller town). Over five years, that congregation became my church family and the kids there grew to be a big part in my life. My wife (Abbie) and I have since moved away from the horizons of west Texas to the greenlands of Indiana. Indianapolis, as it turns out, isn't such a bad place to live. It's not hard to find a place to fish, which is a hugh plus over Lubbock. I found a job on an orthopedics floor, so I'll be working with people that are recovering from hip and knee replacements and other issues dealing with bones. The only thing lacking right now is a bar with dartboards for steel tip darts. When I find that, and when Texas Tech football plays to thier full potential, things will be hard to beat.
