Dedication to his art has garnered him with wide-ranging appeal from Canada to the Caribbean and South Africa to South America. Winner of Jamaican Music Industry Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Performance and Federation of Music Award for Best Instrumental Jazz to name a few Maurice is a respected musician and composer as he recognizes and draws upon the great wealth and tradition of many styles in music. Performing as guitarist on the Juno Award winning Reggae album of 1999 by Lazo, Maurice
receives acclaim at various festivals in the Caribbean including the Air Jamaicas Jazz and Blues, has performed in St. Lucia, Martinique, Trinidads Ramajay and The Grenada Spice Jazz Festivals.
