In 1991 Chris picked up and embarked on his "whirlwind" radio tour where he "cut his teeth" in the brodcasting arena working in cities such as Myrtle Beach, Kansas City, and Pittsburgh. In 1996, Chris got his big break by being hired as the evening personality at WXRK (Home of Howard Stern) in New York City. In 1998 Chris started his television career working at MTV2 as an everyday VJ. MTV quickly picked him up and started using him for shows such as "The Return of the Rock," "120 Minutes" and "First Listen." While balancing radio and tv jobs, in 2003 Chris was hired for the nationally syndicated program "Entertainment Tonight." There he worked hundreds of "red carpet" events and conducted interviews with stars such as Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise, Al Pacino, Matt Damon, John Travolta, Britney Spears, and too many others to mention. At the same time Chris was lured away from his radio home WXRK and accepted the morning drive host position at WNEW in New York. Chris started then branching out to other media outlets including VH1, and WB11 (WPIX) in New York as the morning Entertainment reporter. In 2005 Chris returned to his radio home in NYC at WXRK to form the afternoon talk show known as the "Booker Show." During this period, (and currently) Chris accepted a job with the TV Guide Channel to cover various events and host various shows such as "What's on DVD" and the music specials for the channel working with industry legend Joan Rivers. In May of 2006, Chris was hired as the morning host of WIOQ in Philadelphia. Chris can also be seen as a regular contributor on VH1 appearing on various shows such as "I Love the 80's & 90's," and the "Awesomely Bad" series. Booker has worked hundreds of red carpet events including The VMA's, The Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, and more. BOOKER has also appeared on "Live with Regis and Kelly," "Project Greenlight" on HBO, "The Real World-NYC", "Dream Home" on HGTV, The Howard Stern Show, and the STYLE channel!Chris currently balances his time between New York in Philly. He has homes in both cities.
