About Me

Reg Telescope was born in 1970. He began playing the guitar when he was about 14 and played in a couple of small time metal bands up until the age of about 20.
Soon afterwards, Reg discovered the music of Joe Satriani. His inspiration led to a dramatic improvement in his guitar playing and a few years later Reg committed some of his musical ideas to tape, culminating in his first album One Man And A Tape Recorder, an eclectic mix of guitar music, vocal experiments and keyboard work.
However, the defining moments of this era were Reg's multi-tracked guitar and vocal arrangements, which were recorded at a slow tempo then ultimately speeded up to produce a Pinky & Perky style vibe.
A couple of years passed and Reg was introduced to Music 2000 on the Playstation, with which he produced his next two albums, Dwarfs On Horses and Every Possible Picture Ever.
Reg currently has about half of the material necessary for a third album and hopes to finish this in the next 12 months. Once completed, he hopes to move in a new direction and release some good old-fashioned guitar music.

Don't Eat The Oysters!

I send this message from my sick bed. On Monday morning I was very poorly, something that I have attributed to the three oysters that I ate on Saturday night. Whilst the vomiting has now ceased, I rem...

Happy New Year

Well, 2006 has gone and it's hello 2007. All in all, 2006 was a good year. Some of the things I'll remember were the trip to Islay, the birdwatching, the pub crawls in the Black Country, Uncle Brian's...
