Wuthering Heights, Duming Us Down, The Giver, A Boy's Own Story, The Beautiful Room Is Empty, the Harry Potter series, The Inferno, Allegory of The Cave, The Black Dagger Brotherhood series, bloodletting, and Stumbling on Happiness are a few favorites.
