I was born into a poor farming community where my love for the circus arts was never truly appreciated. my mother was a blind seamstress and my father was a misogynystic republican who ruled over our household with an iron fist. My given handle was that of one Lafayette Latiboderre Quintero. i was shunned, an outcast. an eccentric gypsy who marched to the beat of a different drummer. a tonedeaf drummer. with no eyes. but on the sabbath i was...i was King. i too, had a love...once. her name, Rock and Roll. and like all true loves, my parents hated her. but if they could only see what i saw in her...maybe then they could understand. and like the conclusion of every love story, it ended with me putting my Rambler Marlin into nuetral and pushing it out of my father's driveway in the heat of the night; with the wheel in one hand, and with my love blaring from the 8track, guiding my way to freedom. to the greatest show on earth. to Murray's Bar. and then off to the Circus!
