About Me

A young JS immersed himself in Nottinghams legendary, underground house scene and soon became addicted to the hypnotic groove of the 4/4 beat. His first fix on the decks was at Nottinghams Skyy club. Shortly after his debut, he became a founder member of the infamous Quadrant Sound System the deep house collective. They successfully toured for many years ripping up Glastonbury, Smokescreen, and DIYs notorious Floppy disco, JS has also played in Europe at the Roxy Prague, Club Sueno Barcelona and was one of the main guest DJs at the Sony Xbox Big Air competition in Val Disaire France. Production projects aside JS also djs alongside DJ fever local scratch and hip hop dj.JS & FEVER met whilst teaching eager teenagers mixing, scratching and turntabalist skills at Nottinghams Confetti studios, a Vestax approved DJ Academy. This is when they formed the duo and began their four-deck wizardry mixing breaks whilst scratching and performing turntabalist skills. Their mixing prowess really does have to be seen to be believed!JS and Fever have earned the respect of Krafty Kuts (voted the best break DJ in the world 2005) Krafty Kuts commented on the quality, content and technical ability of the duos mixing skills after being blown away by their set at The Bomb in Nottingham. They have played alongside the likes of Orbital, Soul of Man, The Freestylers, Tayo, Layo & Bushwaka, 2Many DJs, Kenny Dope, Yousef, Tony Vegas, Lottie, Black Twang, DJ Noize, Supernatural. Talib Kwali, Groovrider, Fabio and LTJ Buckem. They have both recently been resident at top nights such as Chibuku Shake Shake (Liverpool) and Spectrum (Nottingham). They say their most enjoyable gig to date was the Das Fest festival in Karlsrule Germany where they performed in front of 8000 happy revellers. Not only do they sound fantastic but they are visually impressive too. Theres always a crowd of hungry clubbers watching them perform their turntabalist eccentricities. They often leave people open mouthed and amazed by their technical agility and co-ordination. As demand grows for JS & FEVER so does their profile and popularity, expect to see them in a club near you soon. Keep a look out for a new project called mothership a new electro house project that JS has recently joined.
