Politics (I'm a geolibertarian -- see www.geolib.com), music, jogging, reading -- to name just a few.
I'd like to meet:
Anyone who's not a Bush supporter (see www.bushlies.net), and not obsessed with mindless distraction:
Music:
I like a variety of stuff, including classic rock (Led Zeppelin, Rush, etc.), modern rock (3 Doors Down, STP, etc.), pop country (Shania Twain, Brooks & Dun, etc.), ambient (Robert Rich, Steve Roach, etc.), some mainstream pop (Gwen Stefani, Mariah Carey, etc.) and last but not least, classical (J.S. Bach especially).About the only genre I truly don't like is what I call "corporate rap" (the dumbed-down, assembly line stuff they've been churning out since at least the late 90s).
Movies:
The Bush administration (with Hillary's assistance!) LIED this country into war.
Is it not, therefore, the height of delusion to blindly assume that they
wouldn't lie to us about what really happened on 9/11? (www.ae911truth.org)

The Money Masters - How International Bankers Gained Control of America
The Money Masters documentary examines the history of money, and explains how our current debt-based money system allows private bankers to extract enormous amounts of wealth from the economy in exchange for the
nothing out of which they create the "money" they loan. It also explains how this parasitic system forces millions of people into indentured servitude; how it is slowly destroying the world economy; and why gold is NOT the panacea that so many monetary reformers in conservative and libertarian circles seem to think it is.Toward the end the documentary proposes an urgently-needed solution -- namely, replacing the fraudulent, debt-based money system with a debt-free money system, whereby fractional reserve banking is abolished, and whereby Congress spends all new money into circulation interest-free at a rate pegged by law to population growth and the price level index -- thereby making our money supply non-collapsible, and protecting our economy from both inflation
and deflation.
Police State 3: Total Enslavement
This Alex Jones documentary reveals that power-obsessed, neofascist elites are hell-bent on turning America into an Orwellian police state, and details how they intend on accomplishing this sinister goal. Since its release in 2003, the "Patriot" Act has been reauthorized, both the REAL ID Act and Military Commissions Act have been passed, and the groundwork for the North American Union has been laid, thus proving the accuracy and continuing relevancy of this film's analyses and forewarnings.
9/11 The Myth and the Reality: Dr. David Ray Griffin
Composed of two powerful speeches given by the masterful Philosopher and Theologist Dr. David Ray Griffin at The Commonwealth Club in San Francisco (4/3/06) and at The Grand Lake Theater in Oakland (3/30/06), 9/11: The Myth and The Reality exposes the official story of 9/11 for what it truly is: a sacred myth.Throughout this incredible video, enhanced with forceful images and video segments, Griffin details nine of the most commonly held myths and misconceptions about the events surrounding 9/11, and with logical precision proves the fallacies of each one. Each speech is followed by an in-depth question & answer section featuring hard-hitting questions about 9/11 posed to one of the subject's foremost scholars.
In Lies We Trust: The CIA, Hollywood and Bioterrorism
Mercury, Autism and the Global Vaccine Agenda
David Ayoub, M.D. goes through the well-documented causative relations of Mercury to Autism as well its connections to “National Security Study Memorandum 200†for population control -- and how all this is being deliberately ignored by both the FDA (www.fdainformation.com) and the medical establishment. This is a VERY upsetting video, so brace yourself.
The Drugging of our Children (Gary Null)
In the absence of any objective medical tests to determine who has ADD or ADHD, doctors rely in large part on standardized assessments and the impressions of teachers and guardians while leaving little room for other causes or aggravating factors, such as diet or environment. Hence, diagnosing a child or adolescent with ADD or ADHD is often the outcome, although no organic basis for either disease has yet to be clinically proven. Psychiatrists may then prescribe psychotropic drugs for the children without first making it clear to parents that these medications can have severe side-effects including insomnia, loss of appetite, headaches, psychotic symptoms and even potentially fatal adverse reactions, such as cardiac arrhythmia. And yet, despite these dangers, many school systems actually work with government agencies to force parents to drug their children, threatening those who refuse with the prospect of having their children taken from the home unless they cooperate.
I'm a huge fan of documentaries. Some of my favorites are
The Money Masters (www.themoneymasters.com),
The Corporation (www.thecoporation.com),
Outfoxed (www.outfoxed.org),
Loose Change: Final Cut (www.loosechange911.com), and virtually everything put out by
Alex Jones (www.prisonplanet.tv).As for fiction, some of my favorites are American Beauty, Fight Club, and The Sixth Sense (wasn't '99 a great year for movies?).
Television:
I don't watch TV much, but when I do, the channels I usually gravitate to are Animal Planet, Comedy Central, ESPN Classic, National Geographic (except for their fear-mongering, gloom-and-doom "global warming" propaganda), and the Discovery and Science channels. I am a proud NON-watcher of American Idol, Survivor, Deal or No Deal, 24, and CSI (in all its variants).
Books:
I have way too many favorites to list here, so I'll just mention a few of my favorite authors: Henry George, David Ray Griffin, James Bovard, John Taylor Gatto, and Greg Palast.
Heroes:
Anyone who openly thinks for themselves (even if that means expressing an unpopular viewpoint).
