About Me

hmmm... ok me... well I'm quite a quiet guy and I'm not usually the one to stand up and be loud and proud. Although if I do feel comfortable around the people I'm with I probably will make some sort of noise. I'm currently enrolled at Cornerstone Christian College in Lansdowne, Cape Town where I'm doing my BTh. Check their page out (www.myspace.com/livethequestionsccc). It's a rad course and it's most definitely challenging me in many more ways than one. It's incredible how much of the Bible one actually misses... I love sport and try par-take when ever I possibly can, although it's not always that easy... Sometimes I just really don't have the time. Although now I’m making time to get back into my running shoes. A friend has challenged me to once again tackle the road and hopefully complete the 2 Oceans half marathon It’s not that far, I’ve done further. So I’m not stressed about it… But besides that, there just always seems to be something that needs to be done. Somehow though I just always seem to be behind, yet 99% of the time I seem to be on time. Doesn't make sense hey?I'm a rather cool relaxed guy who really doesn't try to take life to seriously as I have realized that life is so precious we need to make with it whatever we possibly can, whilst still being safe tho... So, I usually make really arb comments and occasionally throw in the real dumb joke. For example, why’d the elephant float down the river on it’s back with it’s feet in the air? So that it could trip low flying ducks!!! Come on!!! You gotta admit it, it’s dum I won’t deny that, but it is funny!!!Suppose that's why I love youth ministry... I have a passion to see young peoples lives change, for the better. A mate of mine loves ripping off the Afrikaans language (It apparently was voted the 152nd best language after sign language) and so always tells everyone that I’m changing kids lives “vir die beter of vir die wors.” Usually die wors, cause most of them are hungry.I have a passion to work with young people and this is why I'm at Cornerstone. I want to better equip myself and get ready for the position God has opened up for me. Young people are the future of the world. If we can teach them the right way and the only way, maybe then we'll have a world that focuses primarily on supporting one another instead of primarily trying to find ways to screw each other over... So um... ya. I'll chop and change when ever I change... I think I have changed… and um, just because I'm studding theology, it doesn't mean that I've found what I'm looking for...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who's really just keen for a chat... You up for that? Please ladies ( I say ladies cause I haven’t received these sorts of invites from guys and I hope it stays that way) I’m really not interested in seeing your naked body. As weird as that sounds. Don’t get me wrong, I love the female body, I really do. It’s just that I want to keep all I’ve got to offer for my wife. Besides, she deserves it. I’m quite sure your future husband wouldn’t be happy and I’m quite sure you wouldn’t be happy if your husband was doing the same. Let’s just be friends ok? Preferably with our clothes on… Deal?I love chatting to people and having what Ash refers to as a “delicious conversation.” Everyone has a story, keen to share yours? I’m keen to hear it...
