Martin Bohata aka DJ Kara Mahl, was born originaly in Prag, Czech Republic. He lives thesedays near Zuerich in Switzerland. Started his DJ carrier back in the begining of the year 1998, spining Goa Trance vinyls at small underground open air parties. Over the years his interest in Progressive Trance and Mininal develop him to start playing this style of music in his DJ set's, he change his style using thos influence! And start to get recognition in the Switzerland Progressive scene, as a respected DJ.DJ Kara Mahl had in the past major performance all across Switzerland, at some of the best clubs, festivals and parties organization such as Dachkantine Club, Labitzke Club, Jail Club, Kulti Club, Nordstern Club, Geometrix Festival, Atmosphere Festival, Happy People Productions, Chakradelic, Mondmilch, Timegate, and many more. He also got to play in several international appearance such as Cape Town and Johanneburg in South Africa, Sydney in Australia, Prague in Czech Republic, Hikkaduwa and Arugam Bay in Sri Lanka, Koh Phangan Fullmoon and Halfmoon Festivals in Thailand, Greece and many more. These days DJ Kara Mahl set's, can be describe best as Electro House and Progressive House through Minimal and Techno, with Trance influence! In 2006, DJ Kara Mahl started to produce music, together with Patrick Sonderegger aka La Baaz. They work as La Baaz & Kara Mahl, and you can expect new releases from this project! Since 2007 he`s playing for the Israel Progressive Label Echoes Records.
