Finders Keepers is a Danish band and studio project.
Songwriter Anders Carstensen has won a couple of songwriter competitions, played live on national Danish radio and composed the official battle song for one of the biggest Danish football teams.
In 2001 Anders Carstensen released his debut album by the name Finders Keepers in Denmark, without a band and a record deal anyone knows that Do it yourself productions seldom get commercial success, but after all the album had great reviews in UK and Holland, though the album was only available on the internet.
Over the years Anders Carstensen has played many concerts with Finders Keepers as a live band as well as other projects.Finders Keepers has worked for years on this album, but it's still unreleased! Many session musicians have joined and created each a small part of the sound, which is modern and historic, grandiose, complicated and simple at the same time and the songs contain instruments from the middle ages and a string quartet from Odense Symphony Orchestra as well as lots of breakbeats and programming, which is seldom in guitar orientated rock.
Its not easy to put a label on the Finders Keepers sound, but a reviewer from Holland once called it intelligent pop music!
