Being born to famous parents was a challenging experience for Marvin Gaye III. His father being the legendary Marvin Gaye and his mother Anna Gordy didn't make his music career an easier one. He had big shoes to fill. After his group with Lou Rawls Jr named (NU BREED)was dropped from Capitol Records, he continued to pursue a solo career. He continues to record songs on his own record label M3 Records which he established with his business partner Juree Pak in 1999 and loves to collaborate with other artists and producers. Currently he is working on his record "Transitions through Life" and is doing a film on his father's life with his production company. He strives to carry on the legacy of his father's work as well as building his own legacy along the way.
