About Me


It was in 1997 when Mark Cooke finished his four year enlistment in the military and decided it was time to start on his music career. He would soon meet his future brother in law Joe Rodriquez and start the Cooke County Line band. Mark and Joe pieced a seven piece band together and have been playing around the Southern States since. They have managed to open for and/or have imprompto performances with; John Rich, Kevin Fowler, George Jones, Miranda Lambert, Tracy Lawerence, Chris Cagle, Little Jimmy Dickens, Starship, Whispering Bill Anderson, David Lee Murphy, Kelly Coffee, Brian White, John Conolly, Jason Allan, T Graham Brown, David Allan Coe, Confederate Railroad, Joe Stampley, Robert Earl Keen, Ray Wiley Hubbard, Charlie Robison, Aaron Watson, Trent Willmon, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Ty Herndon , Jamie Richards, Linda Davis, Jared Birmingham,Mark has wrote many songs which led him to become Vice President for a East Texas Songwriting Assocation, wrote jingles for businesses and landed a songwriting deal in Nashville. He is currently working on a project album in Nashville with producer J Gary Smith. Mark Cooke hopes you enjoy the music online or playing watching him and the band live somewhere.
