TUSLIC, 4EN6 & SPIT - MANY THINGS
Uploaded by SOPRUP
In todays rap industry, there are very few artists who want to make a difference. TuSlic is not only in the rap game for the money, but he wants to open up new doors for fellow musicians and struggling artists in the world. He is a multi-talented man; He is a rapper, songwriter, producer, manager, promoter, web designer & screenplay writer. Fueled with the disappointments and let downs that have enveloped and conquered his life he will not stop until his message has been sent to the masses.
Born in 1984 in West Los Angeles’s Mid City District (aka The Mid Town Area) home of rappers such as Krondon, Knocturnal, Hittman, Murs, Rakaa, 4en6, LaMotte, Spit & Magnum. TuSlic has always had pride in his area and one day plans to put it on the map. In 1996 TuSlic at the age of 8 along with Big Slink formed the rap group ‘Two Way Play’ which was short lived, since then he knew he was going to be in the rap game. In the year 2001 TuSlic began making beats and started his own production company called “Rugged Realm Productions†along with “Troublesome Records†with friends from high school. This venture was also short lived because some of the members were heavily caught up into the street life. TuSlic once again was working on his own. In 2002 fresh out of High School TuSlic phoned Big Slink & Magnum and formed “Lock’d Down Records†which put out rappers such as Ghozt, Trouble, The Batchelor, J. Rhodez, Mahknotte, J Ma$ta C, Deffinit, Da Kid, B-Lane, LaMotte (Freeze) & Devastate. Lock’d Down Records gained minimal success and was close to signing a record deal in 2003 but at the last minute it fell threw. In 2004 TuSlic decided that he wanted to rap. After a falling out with many of the artist Big Slink, TuSlic & Magnum formed the rap group G.E.S (Green Eyed Society) and because of legal troubles changed the record label name to “Green City Entertainmentâ€.
TuSlic & Magnum decided to pursue their group careers and release a series of tracks. In the summer of 2005 rapper 4en6 joined Green City and along with G.E.S they began production on the Hustle He Wrote mix tape. In September of 2005 TuSlic & Magnum were convicted and put in jail for a crime committed many months before. This derailed the process of Hustle He Wrote tremendously; they did not begin production for the album again until late January. G.E.S grabbed up another Mid City rapper by the name of Spit and continued with Hustle He Wrote.
On June 20th, 2006, TuSlic, Magnum, 4en6 & Spit released the mix tape “Hustle He Wrote†which was supposed to be the jump off for Green City, the tape was well received nationwide and in the Los Angeles area. Many problems aroused after a flopped release party though. TuSlic decided it was time to pursue his solo career with a fresh start. So he formed “So Prup Enterprises†and signed rappers Spit & 4en6 and old Lock’d Down Records affilates The Batchelor & LaMotte. TuSlic will not stop on this inevitable path to success and will only work harder to achieve his dreams and goals.
