Jazzy passed away April 21, 2008, 7 years old. Her kidneys quit working. My heart aches with sadness. She saw me through a lot and I will never forget her. Her sweet little spirit will always be remembered in our hearts.

Hello!
I am a lutino pearl cockatiel. I hatched on January 3, 2001 (I'm 7 years old) - humans will never understand how hard it is to get out of an egg!!! I don't talk, but I have perfected my wolf whistle. I know a few notes of the Marine Corps Hymn, but I get confused and mess up.
My family...Mom adopted a Quaker named Kiwi that I'm learning to like having around. Kiwi is illegal in 10 states! She was probably born in 2006 - so we think she's 2 years old. I liked having my mom basically to myself, but I do think it's funny when she screams to get mom's attention! She is a LOT more trouble than me and she has a little TEMPER. She's in charge of security at our house! She's pretty smart, though - she learned my wolf whistle in two days! She even makes it sound like ME! I guess it's ok if mom keeps her. I always get to go first - first to eat, first to have my cage cleaned, first out of my cage. As it should be. After all, it's all about ME!
We share our home with Raven (a big beautiful black cat) and our mommy and daddy. Raven is great because she understands that it isn't ok to eat or hunt or stare at family members!!! Sometimes at night, I see a shadow move across the room and get scared. I crash around in my cage and hiss hiss hiss!!! My mommy comes in to calm me down and turn on the light and I realize that is was only Raven going to look out the window! I don't understand how she can see in the dark. Cats are weird.
