God blessed me with the ability to sing, and has been good to me anointing me when I minister In song without Him I am nothing the ability to sing is good but the anointing is what sets people free . I have lived in Sacramento most of my life, my mother is a singer, she sings Jazz, and she taught myself and all my two older sisters to sing at an early age. At age 19 I was out in the world, and joined a band one of my older sisters also joined. I wanted to be a professional singer at this point, But God had other plans for me. My older sister received Jesus into her life, and my second older sister also received Jesus, they started talking to me about being a christian. I did not receive what they were saying at first until I had my own personal experience with Him, I was at a church and the preacher was saying " you are on the devil's hit list! " needless to say this caught my attention, he then explained about excepting Jesus into your life and being saved I knew that God was calling to me, I accepted him that day and was filled with the Holy Spirit. I have never been the same I was considered a good girl, never smoked cigeretts, only drank twice, did not like it and got high a few times but in my minds eye nothing major.. but I needed God, I did not know it at the time, but thank God He knew. I began to sing after I was saved as a soloist and then in a band Mark Jackson and friends, and then with another person but ended up singing by myself again. I am now a praise team leader and have one CD completed, and am seeking to do another one. All I can say is that God is truly Good He has blessed in so many ways, I am working on wrtiting songs for other christian artist as well. All I can say is IT IS ALL GOOD!!
