Elliot Zimet (pronounced ZI-MIT) is notorious for his unique performance style and fresh spin on magic. He’s captured audiences on MTV, VH1 and NBC with his talent and energy. His warm personality, innovative material and creative music mixes have led to performances at many venues from Webster Hall to Madison Square Garden. Elliot was recently cast to play a major role on MTV’s “The Gamekillers”. He mystified his female co-star with one objective in mind, to steal her away from her date. Zimet is also known for his memorable performance on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”. The judges commented that Elliot was “a breath of fresh air in the magic world” and voted him through to the semi finals. He toured with the world renowned Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, hosting its famous “Three Ring Adventure” and performed before millions in “The Greatest Show on Earth”. Elliot has been featured on VH1’s “Fabulous Life of…Celebrities in Las Vegas” and the music video for Sugababes’ pop hit “Ugly”. He performed in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel and other star-studded events including David Copperfield’s birthday party and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs annual Hamptons “White Party”.
Born and raised in the Bronx, Elliot found inspiration in its rich cultures of music and fashion. He enjoyed watching music videos and award shows as well as attending concerts. Elliot’s interests grew at age 9 after he saw his first magic show. The performer was a teenager and Elliot was inspired to see someone so young mastering an illusionary art form. Shortly after, Elliot began working on his own show, combining his love of fashion, music and magic. Watching stars such as Usher, Janet Jackson and many others on stage stimulated his passion for performing; the atmosphere was addictive. He could picture himself performing on stage with illusions, dancers, special effects, lighting and hot beats. Once Elliot developed the idea for his show he spent hundreds of hours honing his craft.
Zimet’s focus, drive and talent shine in each performance and his work experience proves he’s taking his craft to new heights. His innovative approach will continue to be seen at nightclubs, fashion shows and concerts all over. His goal is to bring his vision to life by uniting an illusion show with a music concert.
