I am here for Networking

About Me

I am an extremely simple person who strive to succeed at whatever I do. I have learned over the last couple of years that if you live your life in fear, it will overcome you; and, you will succumb to adversities and failure. My motto this year, "To know God is to know love, so no negative individuals are invited here". Well, my life in a nutshell: I am a twin, of West Indian, Irish, and Scots background. I was born in Mandeville, Jamaica, and consider Portland, Oregon my home. I am a United States Navy Veteran, and I attended Portland State University on two different occasions (99-01 & 2003-04). I graduated with Honors on both occasions. My first degree is a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Psychology (emphasis on Behaviorism and Cognitive Processes to include Developmental Psychopathologies and Biological Bases of Development), and a Minor in Sociology. My second degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science with Honors, with an emphasis in Political Science, Criminal Justice, and Spanish. I attended law school for a year and a half, and have decided to take a break right now. I have a Masters of Arts degree in Health Psychology & Behavioral Medicine w/ high honors, and is currently working as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist, Consultant, and is the Vice Chair of Research and Development for a youth organization. I am in my third year of my PhD program in Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine, and will graduate in 1 year.
