About Me

I first started rapping, producing and engineering at the age of 14. My homie,Travis, always freestyled so i figured why not give it a try. Looking up on ebay one day i came across a Zoom drum machine and a Tascam 4 track cassette recorder. I started studying and learning song structure and sound placement, as well as the tedious process of recording with a 4 track. Travis assumed the name Malice, and together we recorded a 4 track demo under the name of Philth. Malice had two solo songs and two songs with both of us. It was dispersed to almost everybody we came across but we received minimal response on it. Malice eventually moved away and Philth was no more. One day when i was browsing the internet on sum juggalo websites. I came across a post about a minigathering for a fellow juggalo who was diagnosed with cancer(Eric). I was talking to this girl, at the time and turns out the mini was at her house. I got directions, hopped in the car with a bag, some pipes and my homie, Earthworm Tom. We got lost for like an hour, but then when we showed up, the party was kicking and everyone treated us like we grew up together. It was simply amazing, friends...no family that you come across once in a lifetime. I was hooked and I became real good friends wit this goofy, loud mouth kid named,Gird. Turns out Gird and his brother, Evad Nednurg(lmfao) had a lil music project they had started. They went under the name of Sweettooth. Gird and myself started talking about doing a couple songs together once he found out i could make beats and record as well. We recorded "The world is fucked up" in my room at my parents house. By this time, i had upgraded and wired the 4 track into my computer and was now recording with Pro Tools Free on windows 98. We then moved everything to his house and recorded, Wickedness. But neither song was ever released. Eric started to take an interest in what we were doing and we started writing and recording songs together. Another Kid wanted in on the action, J was like the last piece of the puzzle and together we wrote the song "no clue" along with what became the start of "First Gear." The four of us were inseperable, if u came across one the others were close by. As luck would have it though all the beats we had lined up for the first rendition of "First Gear" were completely wiped out due to my drum machine crashing. Halloween had rolled around, Gird and Eric had gone with Hamilton to the Canfield Scaregrounds. There they met Pyro, a crazy ass juggalo who was also into music. From the begining of November till a week before Xmas, we were hitting that studio hard. Producing, writing, and recording 7 songs and releasing it to all our homies at our annual xmas party, Yule Tide Chaos:Droppin Logz became an instant classic within the LJ family. With the Response High we knew we had to get something else rolling and quick. After parting ways with Pyro B. and within 6 months we had a full LP ready to go then released our first Full-length Album entitled , "First Gear" on October 1st 2005. 17 tracks of raw attic flavor, all piled up into one hell-of-a first LP! During the recording of First Gear, We decided to start turning our yearly mini-gatherings into something that would turn out to be much, much bigger. Sauce Storm was born, May 21st 2005. The first of many to come, and has been labeled as “the largest mini-gathering in the tri state area!” Hundreds of people have come from the surrounding areas to enjoy the festivities such as: DCW Backyard Wrestling, Scavanger Hunts, Raffles, Live Performances from several local underground acts, and much, much more! Oh yeah, that girl i was talkin to, well now i was married to her and my son was born jus 8 days after Sauce Storm, on May 29th. We proceeded to do shows and work on our next project, “The Ninja Warlords vs. The Blaowlin Monks.” What was originally supposed to be 2 separate EP’s turned out to be a 21 track monster of a split album, Insane Eric and Myself were the Ninja Warlords and Girdy and P.J. Bozac were the Blaowlin Monks. The album exceeded the expectations of the fans and even included 2 Limited Edition Trading Cards of either the Ninjas or the Monks. The long awaited double EP was released on July 28th 2007 at Sauce Storm 3 (SS3). After SS3, I decided to part ways with my 3 brothers to start my own production company known as Swirley Eyed Productions. It was agreed that Insane, Girdy, and J would keep the name and continue on with the 3 of them. Swirley Eyed Productions began with myself sorta having a minor breakdown, dealing with the hardships of going through a divorce, battling a severe drinking habit and quite a bit of run ins wit tha law. I needed something to help me out of the Hole i had been digging for years. I had met a new girl, Casey, and started gettin more involved with my son. So i kicked the drinking and got more focus in my life and what i wanted to do. I became more and more interested in learning everything i could about engineering and production, and currently im in the process of going to school to get my degree in Recording Engineering. I still write and record songs and actually have a mixtape coming out next year, but my true passion at the moment is working with others to pull ideas they have for songs into a completed industry standard song. That about brings us up to date on my events but keep checking back for more stuff added often. Thanx for all your support and love. With out the fans and my fam, i probably wouldnt be here right now. I love you all, much props and family love to you.Havok
