HOW TO PROMOTE US!
Believe it or not, most people don't know who we are. Crazy, huh? The best thing you can do for us is to introduce new people to our music. Here are some great ways to do just that:
1. Put our music on your iPod or other music player, and ask your friends, classmates, coworkers, family members, to give it a listen and let you know what they think! If they are into it, tell them to check us out on iTunes, or hit us up on myspace. Remind them that they can order our CDs and other merch right from our MySpace or website!
2. Share an mp3 with some friends - its cool, we don't mind! Email it around, send over AIM, whatever. Link them to where they can find us and buy our music or other merch!
3. Rock a Hotspur shirt when you go to hang with your friends, or represent with a sticker on your favorite and most-visible stickerable possession.
4. Add one of our songs to your profile - People will hear it and hopefully come check out more stuff on our myspace. Rotate in some different songs so your visitors don't get bored :)
5. Feeling extra motivated? Go to a local show and ask people at the show to check out our music on some headphones in between sets or before the show. See what they think and make some new friends at the same time! This is by far the most effective way to promote us. Be sure to give them a postcard so they know where to find us and where they can get our music!
6. Post bulletins, blogs, post in forums, make us part of your screen name, get a Hotspur tattoo, holler from the rooftops, get Hotspur shaved into your head, talk about us in chat rooms, make cool fan art, etc... all awesome!
There are thousands of other things you can do that we haven't even thought of, so by all means be creative and let us know what you come up with!
