BIOG-
Rae’s career in music began after a summer in Ibiza. Already singing with a passion and collecting vinyl she blagged a set at Bora Bora and was hooked. Rae got her first set of decks and practiced like crazy, her first gig came along with many more to come.
Rae describes her DJ sound as "Big room tough edged house with soulful elements and techy twists " With her unique combination of passionate and energetic DJ sets complimented by her sultry vocals Rae is creating a strong profile for herself worldwide.
A musical partnership with one of House music’s finest producers, Sandy Rivera brought the single “Cant Stop†Signed exclusively to Gilles Peterson in the house, Defected 2008, Going on to become a firm house classic and giving Rae her introduction as a credible name on the scene, talented writer and versatile performer.
Rae’s recent works with ATFC bring us “Giv me Luv†The second release on Defected, proving to be yet another club land smash!
Currently in the process of recording her debut album with Sandy Rivera. Rae describes the album as "feel good acoustic chill out meets haunting hypnotic dance"
Rae has just come back from her first UK acoustic tour and you can catch her perform live at her showcase nights, “15minuteclub†Every Sunday & Monday at 3 venues in London, Oxford & Birmingham.
