SAMANTHA is an hyper active brain full of projects. And since 2005, she is a DJ and BANDI MANAGER at the same time.
SAMANTHA is formely known as Laila France, signed in 1997 on Bungalow records, indie label from Berlin. Half thai half french cutie lolita pop singer, she was recruited by the extravagant producer MOMUS ( ex Creation records ) to seduce Tokyo, Moscow and New York during the 90's. She has also developped different collaborations with STEREO TOTAL, FANTASTIC PLASTIC MACHINE, THE MAXWELL IMPLOSION, KAHIMI KARIE and PIZZICATO 5.
As a newly party promoter, she is able in few months to set up several successful parties, and play in most of every parisian hot spots such as: La Flèche d'or, Le Pulp, La Favela Chic, Le Triptyque, L'OPA, Les Bains Douches, Club Madam, Folie's Pigalle, Slow Club, L'étage, Andy Whaloo, Le Baron, Café Chérie, Café Rosso, Cub Superbar. ( She also plays in private fetish parties sometimes, but keep it secret !! ).
As a DJ, she's playing solo, but she is also part of both dj teams named BANDI CRÜ CRAZY SELECTORZ + GRAN BANDI TEAM. Her global performances and her eclectic musical tastes has given her the opportunity to be associated on the same line-up to great others artists like: KEN ISHII ( 70 drums ), ANDREA DORIA (Great stuff / Blu fin ), SAVAS PASCALIDIS ( Gigolo / Lasergun ), BENJAMIN DIAMOND ( Diamondtraxx ), TRASHTALK ( Craft music ), AUTOMAT ( Karat ), PLAY PAUL ( gigolo records ), SISKID ( Initial cuts ), MLLE CARO ( Crosstown Rebels ), REMOTE ( Kill the DJ ), TIDO BERMAN ( TTC - Ninja Tune ), XERAK ( Ekleroshock ), ELECTROMENAGER ( Karat ), THOMAS DI MATTEO ( Missive ), MAXENCE CYRIN ( F Com ), REMI VANETTI ( all stars ), OUT ONE ( Institubes ), LIQUID ARCHITECTURE ( NAIVE ), COUNT INDIGO ( Tricatel ), MYPARK ( Legranbag ), NEIMO ( Big field ) ...
She hasn't given up singing either as she is actually working on a solo dark electro vocal project in close collaboration with some of the most talented producers at the moment.
