About Me

I'm usually a pretty mellow guy and enjoy the company of almost anyone with stimulating qualities but I can occasionally be somewhat difficult and contrary. I have my demons like every human being. I strive to be who I wish I were. People are a subject of endless fascination to me. I love art and some artists. I love food. I like to build things. I like to question accepted ideas when they don't make sense to me or when I think someone else is presenting it without really understanding it. I seek the truth in all things no matter the consequences [the truth often being defined by: as many viewpoints of something as possible; seeing as what is true for one may not be for another]. I prefer education over judgment as an approach to dealing with something you find to be wrong in another. I very much dislike drama.. especially when it's created just for the sake of having it. hate phonies. Holden Caulfield describes well how I sometimes feel about the world. I love my family. I couldn't really even begin to explain how much I love books, reading and the meaning and understanding it brings to my life. Not really sure where I'm going in life right now but I'm working on it. I think I think a lot. More than average anyway. To some degree I'm a dreamer. I have a mixed sense of humor and don't really know of a better way to describe it. I'm a bit on the eccentric side.. i'm both a loner and a socialite.. I'm both quiet and talkative; the later being the case at this point...
