About Me

.. ..Starting out in the Dublin music scene playing keyboards with rock band "Turn", Fiona has since been working with acclaimed artists (Gemma Hayes, Paddy Casey...) and now is finally set to release her own debut album. ["....However Fiona may be better known as the husky female vocalist who sang "Don't sit under the apple tree" on the Bulmers TV Christmas TV advertisement 2007 / 2008...." (Galway independent)]. “The fear I fear” is largely piano / keyboard driven and slides between brooding, soulful tracks with strong dynamics, to pure pop!The title track will be released as the first single in 2009 with a new video - watch this space...2008 saw Fiona performing her own shows nationwide previewing tracks from “The fear I fear”. She has also opened for many great acts across the country - Paddy Casey, Jack L, The Blizzards, Declan O’Rourke.“The fear I fear” is available to buy in Dublin - TOWER (Sth William St), HMV (Grafton st); Navan - Element records; Waterford - BPM; Oldcastle - Creans and Craft Cafe; and also at the live shows.““The fear I fear” is awash with songs that could easily make Melady Ireland’s next big daytime radio star… these are chart hits in the making” - HOTPRESS"Melady may have come first to our attention playing keyboards with Turn, but her solo guise is a much more intriguing proposition... her debut album is a collection of impressive songs, based around her piano and soulful voice, but with a few left turns thrown in for good measure" - STATE MAGAZINE
