It's about time I updated this site....OK, back to the more mundane stuff: me and music
I had a quite crappy '08 with health issues. the hair loss (over £1,500 raised, thanx!!!) was a mere coincidence with my big 5-0, and then very poorly indeed over Christmas, seeing recovery patterns kicking at the time of writing (Jan 16 2009)
So what are my musical plans this year?
Firstly there is truth2tell, the Christian kick-a55 rock band I front. Based in Bristol, UK, but steadily taking over and rocking God's world. More details to be found on www.truth2tell.net and our truth2tell MySpace site
The other materialisation of my music is, and will again be, my solo work. This had taken a bit of a back seat with my involvement for a couple of fun years as Bluehorses axeman, then truth2tell, plus having a proper poorly Mrs Jakey to help and support.
BUT there are new songs in the pipeline - for me AND truth2tell, AND last November Lizzy (ex-Bluehorses) and I performed a 15 minute set for our old mucker and road engineer extraordinare, Stan. 'twould be fun to do some more, mayhap...?
Please feel free to be a Friend and gently tell me what you think of the music I tried to create.....when it it posted. In the meantime, a couple of snippets from an unfinished project that I worked on a couple of years back with ex Marmalade, Groundhogs, Hawkwind drummer Mick Kirton...
