I don’t watch much besides the local news and even that is mostly for the weather. Once in a while I’ll watch old reruns from my youth - Star Trek, Hogan’s Heroes, Twelve O’Clock High, and Wild, Wild West.
Besides my own ;) I enjoy the work of David Weber, Douglas Reeman, CS Forester, Erle Stanley Gardner, Robert B. Parker, and James Clavell. I also like Tom Clancy’s The Hunt for Red October a lot and I used to love the Mack Bolan books when Don Pendleton was still writing them.
I don’t know that I really have any but these are some people I admire. Frank Sinatra, Neil Armstrong, FDR, Winston Churchill, and my friend Nina Hartley for being unabashedly Nina.
