About Me

I live in Arcata, and I go to HSU. I'm 5'6 and 1/2"... but thought I was 5'7 1/2" for a long time. It's my mom's fault. She said she was 5'6 1/2", and I was an inch taller than her. She's not. All this time I was living a lie, and it leaves a big hole in my heart where there was an inch before. I have big boobs and curly hair. I know sign language because my parents are deaf. (FAQ answers: I'm not deaf because they got scarlet fever, which isn't hereditary. It wasn't strange growing up with deaf parents... in fact, it made me feel different and special. Sign language was actually my first language, which contributed to a speech impediment which was cured by a woman with scratch-and-sniff stickers. Deaf parties are the strangest experience... a room full of people chatting in total silence... only the occasional moan or clacking of teeth). I can paint and draw pretty well, so I became an art education major? I really love music, traveling, laughing, and art... nature, and baby birds, weird stuff, and being different because that's what stirs in your soul and makes you happy... not because being undifferent is so lame.
