I was born in Cebu, Philippines, and moved to the US in 1988. I was raised in Orange County throughout my whole childhood and received my first set of turntables as a gift during my junior year of high school, which I still use today. My first "gig" was at my sister's 18th birthday party, which got me hooked to DJing and eventually led to where I am today. I moved to San Diego to attend school at San Diego State University. Here I started DJing parties for my fraternity, Beta Omega Phi, which eventually led to DJing parties and formal events for nearly all other organizations of AGC (UCSD) and USFC (SDSU). I received the nickname "Dirty Q-tip," in my fraternity, which later became my official DJ name, DJ Cue_Tip. After networking through friends I met in college, I started to DJ in major clubs in Los Angeles and San Diego. My first club was at Forbidden City in LA and my most recent at Highlands in Hollywood for Friction Entertainment. In San Diego, I have Djed at clubs such as Galileo 101 (BQE magazine party), Crudos in lil Italy, and Decos in the gas lamp district. Today I spend my time Djing in LA and SD, while at the same time mashing up new blends and remixes, which can be heard on my myspace, frequently updated every couple days. With 6 years of experience behind me and still only 21, I am still one of thousands of aspiring DJs on the run to becoming a well renowned artist in southern California.Changes may take up to 2 mins to show on your profile
