Dinkum

Dear fans and friends,It's been quite some time and many of you are due for an explanation. Where the hell have we been? What have we been doing? The answers to those questions are, we’ve been here and there, not doing thing. I regret to inform you our cd will never be finished. It was just about finished when we all started to pursue different things. Near tragedy hit our hearts late this summer with a close call for Naaman. Pat joined the band Stanley and I have become nothing more than a self centered asshole. On behalf of the band I would like to state publicly that we are finished as a band. We will be forgotten amidst the others of thousands of countless shitty bands that have gone to nothing. Thank you all for sticking by and supporting us.-Marc.Dinkum is a young high energy pop punk band from Bethlehem,Pa. Drummer Naaman Brandt and Bassist/Vocalist Marc Vollo came together in the winter of 2003. They had a band with serious potential but the guitarist held the band down. The friendship started to fade and so did the band. After they disbanded, Marc and Naaman formed a new band and found a new(and more talented) guitarist. Pat Williams,a long time friend of Marc joined Dinkum in fall of 2004.With one demo complete and a Northeast summer tour planned, Dinkum is taking the steps to break the barriers of the music scene and make something of themselves.
