Hey all, my name is Rick Maranta and I'm a writer (ok ok...thats not my day job) living in the underbelly of Oakville, Ontario, Canada (the town where a new Hummer is born every 30 minutes). I've done some script writing (Sit Com pilot, Comedy Feature, Treatment) but no bites yet...might work on some short films scripts now...not sure.
By the way, I am a huge fan of Jesus - the real Jesus. When you get through all the political crap and religious misinformation out there, you will find something very radical there and life-changing. I belong to an amazing church called The Meeting House, that's ridin' the peace train and is trying to make an impact for good in this sometimes messed up, sometimes beautiful world. (BTW, that long-haired guy with the book below named Bruxy Cavey is the pastor...heaven help us!! See the microphone attached to his head? He works part-time at Tim Hortons and at the airport as an air-traffic controller. He's very talented!)
