About Me

It’s become quite clear to me in such a way that water makes clear and washes away the effort of a mans hard day of work , cleansing the dirt and sin away from underneath his fingernails once thick and clear, strong from pure roots – now looking sickly from corrosion picked up along with the dirty habits of human interaction, that man is no longer a symbol of courage. Self respect is a virtue, a rare one lost in the chaotic journey to manhood, crushed at conception it seems in this day and age, like the oceans waves crash down upon once beautiful homes resting a shore, raping them of their once sheer beauty, and leaving behind only thoughts of what once was. As a man do you stand as those before you did? Or value the core instincts you are given at birth and taught to explore in an attempt to share in a greatness called mankind, to protect your brothers like a mother lion fiercely protects her lion cubs, like the ribs of a skeleton protect the heart. I fear not in this day and age. I look into men’s eyes and see weakness, as though they’re souls have been corrupted and infiltrated with cells not known previously to roam freely in mans mind. Cells that promote timid behavior, that lack substance and reliability, much of which I lack to see in a species once brave enough to conquer the world. Most of all however which pains me like it pains a mother to send her only son to the cold heartless and unknown depths of war is the aberration that has misplaced mans values. Man makes deals with the demons within themselves, sell their souls away to unfaithful women, abandon brotherhood, and choose no to ascend above the temptation of the poison fruit. They merely rely on the acquired ability to sell themselves short to themselves and dabble in the likes of cowardly excuses for explanations to the real reason they own not an ounce of loyal blood in their shriveled up weasel like structure. I’ve seen ants the size of a freckle carry a small rock and have seen man fail to pick up the burden of a life long friend because his once sturdy frame is now cheap and flaky like paint baked far too long in the deserts hot sun, all because of selfishness. Selflessness is long gone from the root of men, withered away just like mans ability to take initiative. Lost souls roam the streets like fish travel the depths of the ocean, endless in their search for nothing at all but another breath of air to fill their poisoned lungs. There has come a day when character refers only to the part an actor/actress plays in a movie or on TV, the same day in which I gazed for hours and saw not one set of honest eyes. It’s become clear to me that man will never serve as a crutch to another man in need or house the hardships of a dear friends trials like a mother bird provides nest for her young ones. You’ve settled for rainy days and lost sunshine. Where I yearn for honest companionship, you’ve fallen victim to the firm grasp of lust- Unable to break free from years of deterioration of character and of manhood. Let not your false instincts overweigh the good sense of judgment generations before you have fought to keep alive within the spirit of men; put your foot down in the cool moist sand that lies where the wave’s break and challenge the ocean to erase the ark you’ve made on its surface. Dare to dig beneath the surface of the simplicity that plagues your life and allow only yourself to shed color on the mural of your future. It is not within fear itself that we find the diminishing factors of one’s character but instead in ones inability to accept the sacrifice necessary to face fear in light of fellow man. Choose to walk through a dark alley known as sacrifice and then look back over your shoulder and see if it hasn’t been consumed with a bright light. I ask you to challenge yourself , so that one day you can walk a dark alley by my side, as a man.
