My name is Rob Muzick. I started played guitar at about the age of 6 or 7. I had always known thats what I wanted to do more than anything else and today that still proves to be very true. Shortly after getting into this instrument my family would decide to go back on the road and play gospel music, this would be my greatest learning experience. The family, The Singing Bryans, still travel a little bit to this day.
I decided that I wanted my own band when I was about 15 so I joined various bands to get the feel of music outside of gospel and learned alot more thru all of this. Shortly after that though, I had had enough with watching bands fall apart due to somebody poorly running them so I knew that to change that, I would need to start my own band. UnderPayed is what came of that idea, not long after changing bass players we became "FlatBlack" That stuck for well over a year and we gigged non-stop for that year.
It wasn’t until Scott Franklin played at Mikes Barn in Elyria that I even thought about playing in an all original band but things happen for the best and now I can be found on lead guitar for Lost State of Franklin. I also do alot of sit-in work. When somebody calls with a gig, I’m on it.
