Rottin

About Me

Formed in 1999, Rottin recorded their first demo entitled "Appocalyptic Mayhem" a two song tape which was a recording nightmare...Soon to be followed by their first album called "Encryptdead" which was far from a success. A year later they record their second full album entitled "RottinHell" which sold a little better, and gained them a little buzz locally in the Horrorcore genre. In the summer of 2000, Rottin met the group Bedlam, and were soon opening their first shows along with Cap 1 from Simken Heights, KGP, and more. In 2001 Rottin released an E.P. entitled "Sick" which only featured one track with member Reak Havik. also in 2001 Reak Havik releases solo E.P. entitled "666 Degreez of Mutilation." After the border line failure of these two E.P's Rottin would take some time off to get their act together. In late 2001 recording began on Rottin's best selling album "Pozmortim." This time Rottin linked up with well known producer 40oz of 40oz Productions, who gave Rottin a whole other sound. With guest appearances from Bedlam and Q Strange, Rottin took there music to another level, traveling and doing shows all over the midwest. Riding the success of "Pozmortim" it was time for Rottin to record another album, which was to be called "So Low," recording started, then shortly crash landed with personal troubles and relationships inside the group. After some time of working on solo material, that never turned out any albums, Rottin slowly got back into music together, doing some local shows with member Massacur now known as Norm Biz, solo shows. After many conversations it seemed that Rottin was done for good, and so it was said...No more Rottin. In July 2006, all three members talked about the groups history and what they have and could accomplish if they recorded another album. After all was said and worked out it was decided that Rottin would record another album!!! Still in the early stages, Rottin is getting ready for another album to be released early 07, which hopefully proves to be their best work yet, and puts them back up at the top of the Horrorcore genre.ADD THIS BANNER TO YOUR PROFILE!!!
