For the longest time, I believed I knew exactly who I was. Even as I type this, I find that I become someone/something entirely different from what I certainly believed to be a comfortable assumption. What I have come to be sure of however, is that in order to truly understand who you are, you need to first realize the way in which you're perceived by others. I don't necessarily mean by the information you provide or even so much as the gossip most are coaxed into believing as truth, but rather by personal connection. So much is exchanged in moments of silence that the human vocabulary simply can't express. Philosophy aside, I'll attempt to paint the picture I hang on the wall of society.....I serve at a restaurant.
