I am a designer. At the moment, mostly graphic design, though I'm exploring video and I'm applying to grad school for product design. Problem-solving is neat-o in my book.I love food. No really, I actually want to marry it, or at least spend as much time with it as possible. I like to try out new recipes and tweak them to my tastes. I also enjoy trying out new restaurants, and I frequent the ones I like. Once I find something on the menu that I love, I usually stay pretty loyal to that dish.I'm pretty easy going, and an adventurer at heart. I enjoy trying new things. Recently I've dabbled with the guitar, and now know the basic chords. Less recently I did some salsa dancing, and I'd like to do more dance, either salsa or something new. I'm also on the verge of exploring the fine art of film; I already watch a lot of movies (yay netflix!), but I recently got a video camera, and there are a couple of project I would like to see through, particularly a rather extensive project involving interviews with designers, but that's another story.I also love to travel, and the list of places I want to go is getting longer. The list of places I've been is also getting longer, but at a much slower rate.In the future I'd like to live somewhere different and make an important mark on the world. I recently quit my job to pursue some independent projects and to apply for grad school, and I think that's pretty awesome of me.
