I still love running, especially since I had kids. It's literally the only time I get to be alone! I ran my first marathon in SD, CA and did it under 4 hrs. I've done the Silver Strand 1/2 Marathon and just recently finished the Big Sur Half this past Oct. My next goal will be the Marine Corp Marathon in DC. I love to travel. I went to Australia 2 yrs. ago and the Caribbean last yr. I love to be outdoors...having a family has not slowed us down. Most weekends we like to spend our day riding bikes along the coast, swimming or hiking, whatever, as long as we're outside. I love drinking...wine that is, an occasional martini. I love going to vineyards & wine festivals. I love eating good food and spending time w/ friends.
I would like to catch up w/ old friends. I don't keep in touch with people as much as I'd like to.
I really like just about everything...except crazy s---- like Bluegrass! Does that count as music? I'm a big fan of Michael Buble. I like R&B because it's fun to dance to and I love to dance.
Pirates of the Caribbean....Johnny Depp....yummy. I love Cameron Diaz movies...she's too funny! I used to love doing her little dance at clubs. I try to avoid Tom Cruise movies - he's a nut job. Meet Joe Black is an old personal favorite of mine.
My TiVo broke!!! The only thing I make it a point to watch is Grey's Anatomy. I love Patrick Dempsey! The Shield, Scrubs, Desperate Housewives if I'm home.
Dean Koontz is my favorite author. He'll make your skin crawl! But to be honest I haven't had a chance to read any "kick back" books. I've been sonsumed with Anatomy & Physiology textbooks or books like "How to get your child to stop whining."
My husband. I know it's super corney...but he's the one person I admire the most. He's amazing and I wish I could be more like him. He's laid back, crazy smart, motivated, went to Iraq 2 x's, most importantly I've never known him to say an unkind word about anyone! He's just the nicest person you'de ever want to know! And I'm lucky to have married him.
