Knotty Phabrix is a classic example of starting at the bottom with aspirations of achieving a goal that can only be reached by making it to the top. KP, which consists of three members, Choze Spoken, Brazen Of KP, and Johnny Aces, began in 2001 in the basement of a small town in New Jersey and over time has become self taught lyricists, producers, song writers, and recording engineers in Hip Hop, R&B, and Rap. Many artists that they have had the great opportunity to work with, have decided the excellent work ethic and talent of Phabrix is a bond worth investing the trust and dedication it takes to collaborate in today’s music.Currently, Knotty Phabrix is wrapping up its debut album, Purgatory For Pedestrians, which is filled with hard hitting lyrics, radio friendly collaborative singles, and unique and beautiful instrumentals. KP has also worked with various up and coming artists such as R&B power house from New York, Nadia, Philly’s own Jane Doe, Mari, Jersey native Ms. Renegade, D.C.’s Abnormal, and New Orleans’ T.K. Choze Spoken and Brazen also have tag teamed to assist with the soundtrack of the film “Expendable†which is due to be released in March of 2008. Brazen also provided instrumentals for Stomp Fashion Magazines Model Showcase in January of 2007.
