Q uest, the son of an alcoholic drum beat and a manic depressive mic, was born and raised in a shanty town in Sacramento, California. His life's journey has taken him across the country and abroad in search of himself and his music, with his mic and a 1985 Buick Skyhawk as his only constants.
T he Quest Experiment incorporates a unique look at the rap genre through the eyes of an artist starved of a decent meal and deprived of aural stimulation from his peers. The Experiment combines the drum, the mic, and the sample with aspects of musical genres not present in today's hip hop undercurrents, while maintaining the integrity of music as an art form.
