I have sung every style of music in my life, but I love jazz the most to sing and country to write. I also love singing blues and my friend Gerry Calhoun says I am really a torch singer. I studied classical music and I am a coloratura and have sung opera. That's really fun! I love Judy Garland and Barbra Striesand as well as Patsy Cline and Joni Mitchell and Annie Lennox. I have a BFA in Theatre Arts from TCU in Ft. Worth, graduated Cum Laude, so I am a bit of a craniac. I love Shakespeare and old musicals with Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly. I am absolutely addicted to golf and have a 20 handicap. I am dying to go play in Scotland, Hawaii, New Zealand, and at Pebble Beach. I got to go to England and study at the Globe Theatre a couple of years ago and also taught high school Theatre for four years and I love to direct shows. It's really fun. Performing is my first love and I feel most at home on stage singing and acting. I have been working at the Grand Ole Opry for the past three years doing a a version of Loretta Lynn. I love meeting and talking to people from all over the world. I have produced two cds and am working on a new project now. I have just recently fallen in love.
