EVERYBODY has the potential to be amazing. Every guy pushing a cart at the grocery store, or fat woman standing in line behind you at the gas station has the potential to be incomparable. Turn on any TV channel. Every single program shows someone or something hat requires some kind of skill to do or operate. THATS what I look for. I want to produce music for one reason. I want to take the borderline homeless man that can play a guitar on the street for money, and bring him to public attention. Skeptical? Go ahead, youtube search "street performer." Every video is amazing. Every single man, woman, and child should be famous. Today's mainstream is diluted with popular "musicians" that can make a beat. Fuck that. For a living, I want to find the badass beats of the body, magnificent melodies of the mind, and sweet songs of the soul. People that deserve to be popular are not, and those that do not deserve to be popular are. But don't take my word for it. You can do it too! Isolate yourself from any light or sound, and pick your favorite song. Place yourself in the middle of a room, preferably not on furniture, and plug in. Turn up your iPod, and listen to that song over and over. Hidden in the lyrics, chords, and beats lie each and every member of that band's soul. You have the ability to hear people's souls! This is why I don't like rap. Even rappers express their souls, but do you know what I hear? I hear them dropping phat beats about money, cars, and ho's fo sho. If that's what musical "artists" are comprised of, then we are descending down a path that is going to be near impossible to re-climb. Listen to Sinatra. Listen to Earth Wind and Fire. Listen to those that know from their souls what they're talking about. When you come to the point to where you can hear INSIDE the artist, you have done what very very few have even thought about. Music is an omnipotent connection between everybody. You don't have to speak the language in order to understand. Just sit, and listen. THAT'S what I want to do, and THAT'S what will bring us back. Stop bumpin and grinding, and listen. Express yourself. Learn from your own mistakes, AND from other's mistakes. Don't be cheap. LIVE life, don't save it. Do what makes for the best story. And most of all, let others listen to your soul. YOU have unbridled potential, let it go. Put your mind to it, and do it. Amaze more than just me, amaze yourself. Amaze everyone. You can do it. YOU can do it. Nobody else can do it for you. Doubt your limits if you're going to doubt anything. If you achieve every one of these goals, you will be rich in body, mind, and soul. You will have become what every person in the history of the world wants to be. You will be HAPPY.
