The walls smell of fresh paint, the glass booth is silent, "Babi Boi" rocks back and forth in a chair next to his engineer. "What cha think"? My attention back on him now. It's cool, as I try to give him an honest thought. He stands up, obviously tired he finishes what's left of a Vodka bottle.............

Ft Lauderdale, MD, and most recently Orlando. I grew up listening to that late 60"s early 70's funk. Around fifth grade I remember hearing Bone Thugs, Snoop, and Nas. It seems as though everybody raps, or knows somebody who does. The same cant be said for producers. "He reaches in his pocket, lifting a newport from the box inside." I'm a producer, I make beats, but that aint all I do. Song format, structure, mixing, that's me. Music with a heart beat, cause nobody will listen if they cant feel it. My instrumentals have melody to them, something alot of niggaz never heard of. Dr.Dre, "he looks at the ceiling and smiles," that's my favorite, all time favorite. "The resemblance is not on purpose? "I guess great minds think alike", he says with a baby faced grin. I'm always thinking of new ways to do this, better ways to improve that, that's what keeps my sound new and in demand. I don't sample either, every note is new and played out. I even go as far as adding real instruments for a brighter, more melodic sound. Damn, I mean, anybody can cut and paste with a music program and make a beat, but everbody can't actually play the song ........Man, I got game from every place I lived. My musical range go's back further than grandpa's hairline. I'm here for a reason, I realized that when I was at Full Sail, "a mass media arts school in Orlando."
Being around positve people can only help. When I was locked up and eventually put on house arrest, it made me think. I aint gonna be one of those old niggas talkin bout, "I used to rap, I used to be a producer." "He stares at me in my eyes, his, hazy and heavy from drinking." I aint going out like that.
