Brian Burke first appeared on the Boston music scene in 2001 when he took over the lead vocal position, along side the great group of musicians of the Boston based band "LastBorn". After a great time writing music and playing shows with LastBorn, the band decided to part ways.
Brian auditioned and jammed for several year, with several different bands in the years to follow until he met a musician who later became a great friend, and joined his project "From Our Disdain".
From Our Disdain unfortunatly never got off the ground and running so Brian decided it was time to move on. Again he was with-out a band and in desperate need of releasing himself creatively through music.
Brian began yet an other search for a group of talented musicians, which led him to an open call audition in early 2006 in Taunton, MA. Out of a large group of vocalist auditioning, Brian was selected to take on frontman dutys for the Providence based band "avian9". Brian was once again along side some very talented musicians. avian9 wrote and recorded a full length album, playing many shows through-out the new england area with some of new englands best local acts. Unfortunately in Oct. of 2006 due to artistic differences Brian felt it was time to move on from avian9.
Now after a long search Brian has been lucky enough again to find a great and extremely talented group of musicians and soon enough will be recording and playing out once again.
