In the early 1990's, I had my own country band, Bar None, and performed for many public and private venues in the New Braunfels, Seguin, San Antonio, and surrounding small towns. Finding it to be tough to teach school, raise three children, and keep a band booked, I gave up the band and went to work as a vocalist with The Goolaks out of Seguin, Tx. After a year, I left the band, but continued to be available to be hired with several area bands on an as needed basis.Five years ago, I started performing at many of the South Texas Opry Shows. New Braunfels, Seguin, Yokum, Nordheim, Refugio, Victoria, Edna, Corpus Christi, Georgewest, and Pilgrim are just a few of places I get invited to on a regular basis.I just recorded my first CD at the Southern Cross Studio in Refugio, Tx. It has many of the cover songs that I enjoy doing at dances as well as the Opry shows.
