Darrell"REIGN SUPREME" People ask why "Reign Supreme"? I respond "why not I am God's child. God is supreme he lives inside of me and I'm always ascending". Blessed with a gift of words. On a mission to save souls and up lift spirits. The lord has endowed us all with gifts it is imperative that we tap into ourselves to discover our true destiny. I have an obligation to the public to save lives. Spoken word has been my outlet to touch others up and personal. My performances consists of: In 2002 I performed for Les and Ona Brown. 2003 competed in New Orleans at Southern Fried my first major competition,an exciting experience. I'm a pioneer of the Miami Master's Slam Team, As a team member I've competed in 2003 in Chicago, St Louis and at home in Miami where I received mad love from the audience a standing ovation. I have perform for the 2003 Miss Black USA Pageant which aired on UPN, I asked could I escort the ladies they told me to stick to poetry (Hahaha!). In 2003 I performed for Russel Simmons at the Youth Summit Source Awards preluding KRS1 U gotta love the brotha! This aired on BET (all jokes aside I look good on TV). In a 2004 Lip Tongue and Ear competition I won first place Laureate poet of the year. In 2004, I was selected by Robert Townsend to perform on The Black Family Channel where I was awarded a standing ovation. 2005 competed at Southern Fried in Charlotte as a member of Black on Black Rhyme Slam Team. In 2005,I compete as an individual poet at a National Poetry Slam,in Albuquerque,NM. My performance was televised on the news. 2007 I performed with the Godzilla's at Southern Fried. I placed second in the Florida State competiton the cash prize was a bless'n(smile). I've also preluded serveral R&B artist such as Carl Thomas, Mishal Moore, Nicole Miller,Antonia Jenae and Eric Roberson. I've performed with Bet's comic Rayzor,Larry Dogg,and Dexter Angry.In June 2007, I performed in my 1st play "They Didn't Believe" with Lamar Jones. I've just finished filming a movie called "The Fatherless Son" I'm speaking into existance that this movie will catapult my acting career. They say I may have a future in the acting arena, Sooo....Broadway, bright lights here I come(Stand by Denzel (smile)....I'm just playing U know my ego).My many performances has helped me grow into the artist that I am. I thank God for the many experiences. Today, I focus on the future thanking God for what he has in store for me the good and the bad. I hope it's all good doh!(smile).
