Tact is just saying not true things.

About Me

Yeah, well, what can one say about oneself to truly represent who one is. Here's a few thoughts. I'm a man with a very healthy vigorous sex drive. I make no apologies for that. I can be rough and I can be gentle depending on the circumstances. I am what some would consider as rude or tactless, but I consider tact as just saying not true things. I will never be guilty of that. I can be an extremely loyal friend/boyfriend/coworker/etc. but only if it's earned. I show compassion when compassion is deserved, but I will be ruthless and cold when it is not. Again, I make no apologies. My politics are complicated. Despite a few liberal social viewpoints, I will never be labelled a Democrat. I am a firm believer in objectivism. My philosophy is based on this simple principle stated by Ayn Rand. . ."I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine." I work hard for what I have and I refuse to be punished for being successful. The world needs men (and women) of thought and action. We can function just fine without the world, but can the world function without us? I vote based on what I believe and not along party lines. I vote to protect my own interests and those who do not I consider to be fools.I am an active person. I'm very much into keeping in shape. I have several vices, the main one being alcohol. I've finally quit smoking. I think other drugs are fine so long as one does not become addicted. That scene is not one I can participate in due to my career.Intelligence and a sense of humor are the most important factors for me. I am well read. I love everything from classic to modern literature. Discussions about the works of Charles Dickens, Ayn Rand, Stephen King, and John Steinbeck are favorites of mine. I am a doctor and therefore a believer in science and rational thought. All in all, I'm a complex guy.
